At this week’s store sale Charters Towers Combined Agents yarded a total of 1288 head consisting of 638 prime and 650 store cattle. Of the prime there were 178 bullocks, 53 heifers, 360 cows and 47 bulls. The store cattle was made up of 407 steers, 222 heifers and 21 cows and calves. The … [Read more...]
